How can you present your school from a different perspective than usual? With a drone. The novelty comes from the Virgilio high school in Rome, which has chosen ADPM Drones to make promotional videos to show students and parents interested in enrolling for the next school year what one of the best-known schools in the capital’s historic centre has to offer.
“After the difficulties with the incoming orientation activities during the Covid-19 pandemic, with open days restricted to a few people, we had the idea of looking for different solutions to show the institute also to those who cannot go to our premises in Via Giulia,” says Isabella Palagi, Head of the Virgilio high school.

The idea of trying out a drone came from one of the school’s more than one thousand students. “A great flying enthusiast and owner of an amateur drone with a licence, the boy enrolled in the fourth year of the scientific high school put forward the proposal and we welcomed it with enthusiasm”
As for the choice of ADPM Drones, Palagi explains that “after a market survey of the sector to find a company that would meet our needs, we identified a partner with the necessary background to interface with the institutions and operate in full compliance with the regulations”.

“We are happy and proud to respond to the desire of the Virgilio high school, also because it is a project born from the will of the students. Some of them will be present during the filming days, because the intention is to make our services available, following the vision and ideas of the students,’ says Luca Brizzi, Executive Chairman and Head of R&D at ADPM Drones.

In the coming weeks, we will give you more details and photographic material on the project, whose first flight date is set for 26 July.
